Continue CHAMPS with students who are more at risk for getting referrals (especially males).  Seek out more positive male role models from the community to work with male students (see if male police officers could come and be CHAMPS with some of our male students who are most at risk to build positive relationships between officers and students/families.</div>]]></description>

Ex: CHAMPS, TEAMMATES, mentors, etc...<br>&nbsp;<br>Address behavior protocols that are consistent across the building.<br><br>Correlation between academic proficiency and behavior to see if we are meeting their academic needs. Is it academics causing the behavior or behavior causing the academics.&nbsp;<br><br>Increase engagement based on research, specifically geared towards boys in school.&nbsp;<br><br>Actively involve these kids in some way so that they feel valued here at school.&nbsp;<br><br>Rewards/Events to celebrate students on behavior plans who are meeting their goals. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Positive role models for students who have a tough home life or struggle in school academically or behaviorally.&nbsp;<br><br>Set up a program for students to interact with people in their dream future profession to see what life could be like.<br><br>Teachers need more training on becoming a Trauma Aware School and building a positive classroom community in order to best meet the needs of the students who are struggling with behaviors. <br><br>Give at risk students an interest inventory to see what they think will help them WANT to be at school and be successful. </div>]]></description>
