There will be opportunities to be more environmentally friendly due to the access to 64 acres of green space and the natural environment which has benefits for public health. There are more opportunities to cycle and walk

the Village is community based and would mean that jobs and facilities would only be a walking distance away. Therefore, there will be less pollution from cars and public transport.

The Prince of Wales started the project in 2009 and is an ongoing 20 year project and it is one of the most significant regeneration projects currently underway in Wales. The project will have an overall economic impact of £1 billion.

Coed Darcy will become a sustainable community of 4,000 traditionally-styled Welsh homes meaning it will provide housing for over 10,000 residents.

The Village will include retail, leisure, sports and community facilities and acres of green open space which will lead to nearly 4,000 new job opportunties.
