The Third Amendment to the United States Constitution is just 32 words: "No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law

The 3rd amendment is important to me because I don't think it's fair for soldiers to just come in someone's house and take over I think it wouldn't be a problem to the housekeeper if they just asked nicely.

The Eighth Amendment (Amendment VIII) to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights (ratified December 15, 1791) prohibiting the federal government from imposing excessive bail, excessive fines, or cruel and unusual punishment.

This amendment is important because a lot of people do bad things and they deserved to be punished but the people that are innocent and are convicted of being guilty so they don't deserve any type of torture so the amendment stops more bad things happening.
