In the poem "The Many and the Few" The many are the people that liked segregation and the white did not like black and white mixed and separated them. For example Rosa was in the neutral section were white and blacks can sit and a white person went on the bus and Rosa had to get up so the white person can sit but Rosa refused to move. The few are the people that dislikes segregation and thought it was wrong like Rosa parks. The thought it was wrong because white people had nicer stuff and got into something first even if a black person was the first. That is who the many and the few were and how were affected by segregation and not segregation.

the many are the people who went to the back of the bus when the bus driver got up in Rosa's face and demanded them to leave. The few are The people who stayed in their seat (Rosa). I know that because in the poem it says Blake told the few of them to take the deeper seats but SHE declined. So that is indicating to me that Rosa is the few and the many are the others who left when Blake told them too.

The poet J. Patrick Lewis had described the many and the few as white and colored or black. The poet shows this by stating, blake told the Few to sit in the back. During this time period the back of the bus was where black people would sit. To show that the Many are white people the poet states that, "the dept the Many owe the Few". This shows that the poet thinks that after the black had been treated poorly the white people would owe them. In conclusion the Few people are the colored and the Many people are the white people.

Since this is a story where Rosa is not moving to the back of the bus, this text must be back in time where blacks and whites were separated. so I think that the blacks were '''few'' since blacks were treated as less then or second class citizens. Making whites as '' many '' since whites, back then were treated first class and overall just better than blacks. In the text it states,'' the driver told the Few of them to take the deeper seats. '' meaning that the bus driver told the few meaning the blacks to take deeper seats.that means that the blacks have to take seats closer to the back of the bus.

The author J. patrick Lewis had described the "many" as the white people and the black people as the "few." I think this because the author says,"The Many People paid no mind Until the driver,J.P. Blake Told the Few of them to take The deeper seats." This piece of text evidence shows how where the text says how the bus driver ordered the "Few" to move to the deeper seats, he means for the "Few" to move to the back.
