In this picture it is showing the part of the story of when Eddie saw the events unfolding of ride collapsing shortly, Eddie sprung into action not even hesitating and made an attempt to save the little girls life, ultimately losing his in the process. This is important because it sets up Eddies adventures through heaven and sets up him going to heaven in general most importantly setting up the rest of the story.

This is a significant part of the story, this is where Eddie meets the person that he had an expierence with, and now meeting him in Heaven. This sets up more expiernces for him in the upcoming events in heaven. The Blue Man was someone that was really there to give Eddie a breifing of what he is there to listen and learn about.

In this scene it shows the introduction of a certain character that Eddie doesn't tend to have the best memories of, his father. Before this all happened Eddie is talking with another person Ruby, a girl who the pier was named after and she is teaching him an important lesson about life, which is forgiveness and she wants Eddie to forgive his father for the expierences he was provided with growing up. This could be labeled as an important Scene because since Eddie is now in heaven meeting everyone that has left some kind of impact in his life, or someone he shares expierences with, he now meets his father which he doesn't like. The importance of this scene is he is getting a glimpse of someone who left an impact on him in his life.

This can be seen as something of importance to this story because it shows a particular scene in which Eddie had a chance of dying in, and that means that he would've never been aloud to live his life to the fullest and he never would've expiernced life after the war. In the scene Eddie is talking to his Captain from the war, about how he was about to run into a burning building to try and save someone from dying but instead he was shot in the leg and in return he was saved from dying, while he was then taught the lesson that "no man is left behind". It's an important Scene because once again he is saved and is instead of dying, able to keep his life and live it out until he had died later in life.

This is an important scene because it introduces the readers to another important character in Eddie's life, the captain, the one who realistically saved his life and allowed him to live on through his older years. In the scene Eddie is meeting the person who is responsible for saving his life, he was the one that allowed Eddie to live out his years, but Eddie hasn't seen him since the war and was a bit shocked to see him. This scene is improtant because it introduced another character that sets up more questions for the readers, and allows the readers to understand more of the story.

This is an important scene due to the fact that it shows a near death expierences with people who had captured him. In the scene Eddie captured with his squadmates, and is in a bit of a situation of trying to get out alive. The do end up getting out but have to kill the "crazies" in the process, while he almost shot in the process as well. This is an important scene because this is a situation where the story could've ended much sooner but Eddie is safe and did escape to live on in his life.

In this part of the chapter, it is showing the captain giving Eddie very important information of his time being in heaven. It allows Eddie to understand that him being dead and now being in heaven allows him to picture heaven as what he sees it as. Allowing for a better understanding and a better expierences in heaven. This is important because it allows Eddie to realize that what he is seeing throughtout heaven is really what was in his imagination besides the people, everyone else's expierences our different according to the captain.

In this scene it shows a bad expierence between Eddie and his father, Eddies father came home a little angier than expected, and Eddie didn't like that so they got verbal with each other and then it started to get physical with one another. Eddie soon got knocked down by his father but then got back up and caught his fathers fist and had his father in confusion on what had just happened. This is an important scene because after this scuffle between the two of them, Eddie no longer talked to his father anymore after this, and neither did the father want to talk to him.

In this text, it is displaying Eddie finally forgiving his father after learning what had happened in his life. Eddie finally comes to a realization that not everything was so bad and his father wasn't such a bad person in his lifetime. Eddie learns that his fathers closets people to him did very bad things yet his father still did good, and acted good towards them, he saw that he really did care for his mother. But Eddie always had the thought that his father was such a bad person. This is an important scene because it shows that Eddie has finally let go of the past, and finally forgiven his father after all the years of pain he had gone through.

In this piece of text it is showing Eddie talking to Ruby another important character, being taught more lessons and still trying to find his peace, yet although he can't do that and disagrees with Ruby that he has peace. Eddie doesn't believe here and says so in a respectful way. This is an important scene in this section because it shows that Eddie can not and still hasn't found inner peace with himself yet, so it showing and explaining that Eddie still hasn't found peace in heaven yet.
