The typical English breakfast, commonly known as a full English, is one of the most identifiable foods in the United Kingdom. Eggs, bacon, sausages, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, tea, and toast with marmalade are all part of this breakfast spread. This hearty supper was first consumed at home by workers in rural England in the middle of the 19th century who needed a large breakfast to fuel them through long mornings. It is now one of those iconic British delicacies that is loved all over the world.

Various ciders with varying flavors and alcohol contents can be obtained in supermarkets from manufactured producers and in British taverns from local brewers. It's safe to assume that cider is one of the nation's favorite beverages since 45% of all apples farmed in the UK are used to make cider.

In the late 1800s, the Jewish population of East London created the salted beef bagel. Although salted beef had long been a mainstay of British cooking, this Jewish community changed the recipe and served the steak on warm bagels. Long queues of people can currently be seen outside London's Brick Lane Beigel Bake, which is open around-the-clock and sells the iconic bagel for less than £3.

Scottish whisky, which is legally required to have been aged for at least three years in casks within Scotland to earn its name, is produced in the United Kingdom and is known worldwide. Scottish whiskey is distinct from whiskey produced anywhere else in the world because it is originally made from malted barley and is spelled without an "e". Because there are only 115 officially licensed distilleries that produce Scottish whisky, you can be sure that any whisky you consume is genuine.

Differences Between Viet Nam and British Food

There are three meals a day for English and Vietnamese, but British cuisine has traditionally been based on beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and fish and typically includes potatoes and one other vegetable, whereas Vietnamese cuisine typically includes rice, pork, and vegetables.Second, in contrast to pho, banh mi, and xoi in Vietnam, the sandwich, fish and chips, trifle, and roast dinners are the most popular British dishes. For instance, whereas in Vietnam, breakfast typically consists of pho, banh mi, xoi, or instant noodles, a typical English breakfast typically consists of a bowl of cereals, a slice of toast, orange juice, and a cup of coffee.
Another difference is how they eat. While Vietnamese typically use chopsticks and a spoon, English people eat with a knife, fork, or spoon (with the fork in the left hand and the knife in the right). The British typically drink during the meal and use napkins, whereas the Vietnamese do not use napkins and wash their faces and hands before and after each meal. They drink after eating rather than while eating.
In addition, in Viet Nam, rice is the primary starch, and meat is cut into small pieces prior to cooking because no knife is used during meals. In Britain, on the other hand, potatoes or bread are the primary starches, and meat is cooked in large pieces; however, in Vietnam, everyone, particularly young people, is required to invite other members to a meal.
