If borders are closed, then they are trapped in their country and must live out their life in horrible conditions. The immigrants are good for us, too. They allow diversity in our country and new ideas and inventions emerge.  Immigrants also fill in a lot of jobs in America and without them, the work force would be much smaller.  There is a problem, though.  Some immigrants want to hurt our country.  This can be seen in terrorism when foreigners get a hold of bombs. The most popular example of terrorism from immigrants is 9/11 when Twin Towers were hit by planes.
