Christmas: The holiday of Christmas is based off the birth of Jesus. God supposedly sent his son into the world to be born. The Shepherds, wise men and angels were very excited because they knew it wasn't an ordinary baby. The prophets had told of Jesus's coming hundreds of years before. Santa Claus wasn't part of the original story.

.

Easter: The holiday of Easter celebrates the day Jesus arose from the dead after the Crucifixion. The word Easter comes from the Pagan goddess Eostre who is the goddess of spring and fertility. Folklore says that Eostre found a bird dying from the cold and turned it into a rabbit so its fur would keep it warm, but that rabbit still laid eggs like a bird. The decorative eggs came from Mary Magdalene who was the first person to see Jesus after his resurrection. She was holding an egg when she proclaimed in front of the emperor that Jesus was resurrected. The emperor said that that was as likely as an egg turning red. And after he said that, the egg she was holding turned red.

Jesus is the Son of God. The holy trinity is made up of the Father (God), the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit; His life on earth, his crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension into heaven are proof of God's love for humanity and God's forgiveness of human sins, and that by faith in Jesus one may attain salvation and eternal life in heaven.

God the father, God the son(Jesus), and God the holy spirit(god presence on earth) make up the Holy Trinity, but the bible clearly empathizes that there is only one god. Thus the term: "Tri" meaning three, and "Unity" meaning one, Tri+Unity = Trinity.

The Holy Communion, is where Christians follow Jesus' wishes at his last meal. At this meal, Jesus asked his disciples to eat bread and drink wine, in honor of his memory. This ceremony is how Christians follow these wishes. The bread is supposed to represent his body and the wine is supposed to represent his blood, which was sacrificed for the world.

Baptism is when someone decides to accept Jesus as their savior. The process of baptism is simple. You begin by standing, sitting, or kneeling in some water. Another Christian then lowers you under the water and then brings you back up out of the water. It's supposed to symbolize when Jesus dies and gets resurected.

Christians believed that Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the people. It is said that God is the judge of sins and would punish those people that have sinned but Jesus stepped in and took the punishment so that others wouldn't be punished. He died for the people's sins and was later resurrected.

The goal of Christianity is salvation, which is the eternal life of one's soul with god in heaven. Christians believe that to achive salvation they must follow Jesus's teachings about living a moral life and by participating in the sacraments.
