After researching Nelson Mandela, I can see why he is so well known. Before this, I knew very little about what he did, all I knew is that he fought for some sort of rights and became a world renowned activist. Now I know the struggles he faced and the risks he took just to help others. His faith in what he believed did not disappear, but grew stronger each time something went wrong. I know that I will never do something as grand as this, but if I can help one person in my lifetime and help them live a better life, then I'm happy. Mandela has made me more keen to help others. I can now call him one of my inspirations.

The only thing that I can think of that is less-than-perfect about Nelson is when he was planning to bomb places to get his message across. I get that it was desperate times, but if he was fighting to help people, bombing would just make things worse. Although, if he never planned any of that, he never would've gone to jail, then he never would've been released, and he never would've been president.
