This is due&nbsp;to the fact that the object in motion, the field hockey ball, continues to stay in motion until it is acred upon by an outside non-zero net force,  which would be the field hockey stick stopping the ball.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A player could turn sideways to the goal, winds up with the stick behind them and swings through the puck. The power for the shot comes from the player transferring his weight from the back legs through the body, down the arms and right through to the stick. The weight of the stick also affects the players ability to play to the full potential, so if the player gets a lighter stick it will make them play better. </div><div><br></div>]]></description>
