In my family women were often busy in the kitchen, the women in the family needed to prepare the meals and the men just needed to show up at the dinner table. Growing up in this environment made me think that it was normal for women to be busy in the kitchen while the men didn't have to do anything, but as I grew up I realized that women can be in a lot of different roles and that not all women need to be busy for the family.

When I was little my mom would help me organize all my clothes and put them in the closet, it was as if it was her job to do it, and she gave it without complaint, when I didn't have my mom to organize my closet, my closet was usually in a mess, and it made me think about how a lot of the reasons why women are important in the family is because of these simple chores, but in fact, there are so many more possibilities for them to be involved in different careers as well, instead of just taking care of the family.

Since I was a little girl, I was taught that girls must have a slim figure, and a beautiful face and that they should get married and have children when they grow up. In this world, there is no real equality between men and women. Boys are not ridiculed for their bad figures, but girls are asked to lose weight because of their overweight figures, and at home, my parents would force me to lose weight because of my overweight figure.

The washing machine is an essential appliance in many homes, but the most common use of this appliance in the home is by women.
