  • I grew up in a Catholic family and am extremely close to both my immediate and extended family
  •  I currently live with my parents and siblings 
  • We get together often with my extended family for holidays and other gatherings like birthdays

  • My family and I all practice Catholicism and celebrate Mass on Sundays at our local parish 
  • We celebrate holidays and feast days within the Church and have made the sacraments

  • I think politics and voting are extremely important  
  • I look at it as making your mark for the world, changing it for the better
  • This is my first year being able to vote, so I have a different outlook on politics because I can now participate

  • My family and I all speak English, and have no second language; however, I always kind of wished we did :) 
  • I don’t think we really have a distinctive dialect (that I can tell), but my family and friends have means of communication that’s nonverbal. We all have close relationships, so we can tell about what someone is thinking/ feeling through body language

  • Obviously, it’s different right now during these times, but I think a respectful distance when talking is appropriate 
  • I think it’s nice to be somewhat close to those you’re talking to, so you can hear each other and stay focused. I also think it’s appropriate and nice to make eye contact, letting those you’re talking to know that you are dedicating your time and attention to them
