Teaching vocabulary is crucial. We can teach with pictures, games, or show some videos related the vocabularies. However, not only vocabularies but also how the students are able to make sentences in those vocabularies. Try to teach them how to paraphrase. We also have to teach them phrase so that they can remember and immediatly practice it with their friends.

Vocabulary is foundation for us to know whatever in any language, and when I Teached vocabularies for my student, I will show a thing, some pictures, something that I would do, something thai I felt, immediately my student will raise their hand to answer whats vocab that I mean, the class will really noisy, sometime the answer got wrong and its time to me to make some puzzle by asking them to voice the alphabet, and when the answer go true, i will give them some prize, after my student known well the vocabs I will ask them to memorize then use them to be a phrase or sentences

Vocabularies is based to understanding the language.I teach vocabularies to my students usually i make a clue, by pantomim, and they should guess,after they guess they write in their book after that they pronounced together.
I think its effective way to make my students easy understand.

Here it is what I have learned during the zoom process. First I've got a lot of knowledges also experiences. I studied about Comparative degree, Reading concept, wordwall App and Breakout room. The special one, I love about breakout room. That gave me greatest method. Also for comparative degree, It has upgraded my skill.
Today, I learned about reading concept. This lesson taught me, I should be more careful and pay attention to answer the reading question. It looked easy but should be not careless especially for true false question. And the question that given today is treat me for critical thinking because the text is implicitly.

I did at 8th grade about breakout room... I ask then to talk each other for teaching past tense. And I guide them through a picture. That's amazing using this breakout room. My student's enthusiastic. They told to their friends what they did using the picture.

I hope I can study about reading method. I can increase my skill for minimize reading test's time.

I am grateful to be in this program. I got new friends, a new mentor, and new knowledge. I have learned many things. In Zoom class, I am taught about Comparative and Superlative Degrees, Reading concepts such as true or false, and the most interesting things to me are the Breakout Room and Wordwall application.

In the breakout room, I could practise my English, especially in speaking and I could share my opinions with others based on the topic that my mentor gave. That was so amazing. I will share it with my students to make them feel confident speaking and they are able to share their opinions. Because of this course, I got new application games named Wordwall . I tried it on my students, and they were interested and happy when they did it.

I hope in this course, I will learn many tricks and methods in the teaching learning process so that I can teach enjoyable to my students especially in listening, speaking, writing and reading.

Honestly, this program reminds me of when I taught senior high school around 1997 at SMA 5 Mataram, they ran me to study more and more. You know it's the first time for me to be a teacher . My student's are very enthusiastic when learning something new with some new method. Today…this online class ran me too learn more and more about new things specially for new application in teaching, I got many things here, I can make padlet, playing with word wall is hard but easy and make fewer, it”s so useful, and when I try this to my student, I think they will love it.

When I was in this programme, my students were in their last examination. But, I promise, I will apply what I got here and when the time comes, I imagine that I will take one example when I thought of writing verbal sentences in Simple Present tense. I’ll introduce them to Wordwall. First, I would bring them into some groups by using 6 colours. I asked them to mention what colour they liked. And the groups consist of 6 people. Second, I”ll give them jumbled words then their task is to make them into good sentences and present it in front of the class. Finally, i will show the best answer to all and give them some hw by using word wall with their cellular.

Now a days, we are in Merdeka Belajar, a new Curriculum in teaching, it's hard to conditionally with different students characters and needs, if there any New things that I will learn in this online class, its a advantage for me, I need new tricks, new method, new techniques in teaching and learning, I believed that it will increase my English.

Every day, maybe many of us listen to music. Sometimes I hear the students at SMP it Al Hilmi Dompu singing happily, both pop songs, mixes and even western songs. Gratefully, at the end of the K.D/competency achievement, listed competence "interprets social functions and linguistic elements in *song lyrics* related to adolescent life" and at 7th grade is provided directly in the learning module "Bruno Mars- count on me and at 8th grade "One direction-History. Here it is, teaching music and lyrics in class is quite a big enthusiasm for students with a high level of confidence, through these lyrics they learn how to pronounce the lyrics correctly and students can read directly the translation of the song lyrics. As a POV, teaching music and song lyrics is a great achievement for students. sometimes I as a teacher don't hesitate to sing with students after the main song, something else they will ask for a round of songs according to their interests. Glad to be able to make them laugh out loud.

I Dont wanna talk about it by Rod Steward and one moment in time by Diana Rose is my first western song.
You know when I am in university, my thesis is about music, I really interested on Shania Twain at the moment. So, I Put some of her love song to be my best thesis tittle.
Everyday in school yard or in a class my student always sing a song, oneday and now always, I open and close my class material with sing a song (the song must be corelative with the materials) they were interested in....and when the student were boring, singing is still top technique to make them spirit, the song give them new energic....
I, myself, like country music, its always give me more and more new energic ....I'am 45 yeara old now, but I never come to a music concert, I only enjoy the music and singing at home, and sometime I sing my favorite song infront of audience in wedding/birrhdays party.

Listening is a mother of languange. When we listen, we immitate it. When I was junior high school, the first music that I heard was Westlife's song. I am keen on English when I listen the music. We can learn from music. When we listen the music, we enjoyed it.

I always tell my student to listen English song. If they want to improve their English especially pronunciation, they have to sing English song. They also have to know the meaning of the song.

I sometimes give them listening section in the class such as song, and conversation. And of course they like and enjoy it.

I have experience in teaching music lesson: Firstly I teach the students through cards, some of them were get bored. then I use English movie within music exist and you can imagine what happened next? The class atmosphere were more enjoyable and interesting.

I really like music. When I was a teenager, I usually listen to the slow music. However, unfortunately I couldn't sing more song anymore, cause of my voice/power is so bad.
According to my classroom activities, I usually apply teach music for high school students. They really enthusiastic in listening from the music. I make the missing words of the lyrics, then they try to catch up what's the Singer pronounce it. Totally they enjoyed to participate in classroom activities. Unfortunately, they don't want to be end for the class. Although the other teacher appears on the nextdoor for the next subject. How pity! 😂

My students can not pronounce English well. It because they lack of vocabularies, lack of motivation, some of them do not have handphone, and they come from underprivileged families.

The most important thing is I have to make them happy to learn English. To make them enjoy in English, I prepare guessing pictures game. I will show the pictures that they know first,and ask them to mention the name of the pictures. If they mispronounce, I will correct it. After guessing, they have to make a sentence based on the pictures and read it together. It helps them to pronounce the words or sentences well.

Technology usage as one of the teaching tools is an enjoyable and meaningful experience. Students (even not all of them) can connect to real things when I show them some videos and images about specific lessons. Students are more interesting too. I think most English Teachers (especially in Dompu Region) have the same big problem. It is the difficulties of teaching the mother tongue language students. Especially in spelling things. and the last but not least, most students seldom study at home after school time. Now, I'm focusing on helping students by showing the related Videos (on Youtube) as their real references, such as how to spell. The problem that students face is that English is a foreign language for them so they are not used to listening to English in their daily life, they always use regional languages and even Indonesian is rarely used.

Subject: English words Pronouncing Difficulties

My students still find it difficult in English words pronouncing. It might be caused by the following:
- Reciting and spelling English letters is different from those of Indonesian language.
- There are consonants and vowels combination/clusters in the most part of English words.
- Inconsistancy of single or double vowels(diphthong) sounds in English words.

In this condition, maybe we could solve or overcome by doing:
- We will try to guide them by showing the way how the English words should come out of the mouth: (i). The position of tongue and teeth. (ii). The movement of lips (exaggerate shape of the mouth)
- If needed, correcting their pronounciation instantly/gently.
- Make a lot of repeating(repeating again and again) or providing plenty of practice.

Hy guys .. I 'm sorry for being late in collecting my assignment because last week I'm sick.
My student cannot pronounce english well, it because lack of confidence, vocabulary and lack of to exercise about pronounce english .

When we are scheduled to teach English Grammar/Structure to the students, we will take the following steps:

Firstly, we have to convince them that English is not only the International language but also the Language of knowledge. In writing or speaking english, we should state/present the standard/correct sentences to make it easy for our readers or communicants to understand what we mean. So, that is why we have to learn English Grammar/Structure seriously and intensively. In other words, understanding well about English Grammar/Structure is a MUST.

Secondly, we will try to invite them to know and understand well about the subject matters to be the strong indicators in improving our productive English language skill/English communicating capability as we could be describing below:

- Parts of Speech
- Parts of Sentence
- Tenses
- Gerund
- To Infinitive and Infinitive without to
- Active and Passive Participle
- Comparative and Superlative Degree
- Question Tag

NOTE:
- Be rich in English vocabulary
- Do plenty of practice by making a lot of reading, writing, listening, watching and speaking (speech, dialogue and conversation). "The more we practice the better our English will be".
- The most effective way in learning English is to go to The UK or to use it in communicating with others.

how to teach grammar is the teacher teaches a lot of vocabulary to students and the teacher provides an understanding of how to use grammar in sentences. Students are continuously given exercises so that students are proficient.

The way I teach English grammar I use a tool or way that available, ussually It's a random method also but recently I use a worksheet with picture to teach about Simple Past Continuous tense exactly 🥰
