I made a good living for the most minimal of work simply because of my blood. I then dropped out of school in '12 because I figured "why not? You already make more than people triple your age. " Worst idea ever. 2017 came and my family was no longer a family but instead a non-stop business conversing group of people who shared the same blood, whether it be just a dinner or an international vacation the business talk never stopped. My family was broken and one day I got up, left most things behind, and moved back to Corpus where my mother and brother's lived. I needed to find a purpose and true happiness again. I landed my job at Dillard's shortly after moving down. It opened my eyes to the world of not only retail but also the management side of things as I soon became very good friends with most of the Dept. Managers. This then put me on my path to where I am today, a Business management major and actually feeling like I'm doing what I'm destined to do.
