Provide relevant materials that the children can explore and use during play

Set a goal for the play e.g. preparing spaghetti using the materials in dramatic play during Story Play or feeding the ‘peg pets’ with different shapes of biscuits during JE (pegging activity)

For example if you’re focusing on gross motor skills, then you may conduct lesson on ball play like kicking ball, toss the ball forward. Also reinforce on the language like eg. kick, throw, pick up the ball, roll the ball.
