Without plants and trees, it would be hard to sustain life! Without plants/trees, the sky would be filled with smog, the soil would be tampered, there would be a decrease in wildlife, etc... I think we sometimes take for granted how important plants are for our survival! This has been a huge lesson for me!

This video is very informative and goes into a lot of detail about the most important parts of photosynthesis. The graphics and drawings made the video entertaining and fun to watch!!

The Tropical Rainforest:
I believe the Tropical Rainforest is endangered because of global warming & deforestation. This biome is extremely important for survival because the trees filter and produce clean air for us to breathe. Global warming is concerning because it will inevitably cause major droughts in this biome and humans are constantly destroying large areas of trees/plant life.

https://sciencing.com/adaptations-animals-tropical-rainforest-6862950.html
http://wunc.org/post/how-climate-change-affecting-tropical-forests#stream/0

Impacts of the First Agricultural Revolution!
The First Agricultural Revolution greatly impacted and caused a huge spike in human population growth. The revolution brought new technologies that gave them the abilities to change from a hunter-gatherer society to a society of farmers. With the new technologies they were able to settle down and build permanent housing/buildings. The revolution increased the amount of crops and made getting food a whole lot easier! With all of this, comes a rapid growth in population.
Sources:
http://resilience.earth.lsa.umich.edu/units/population2/index.html
https://prezi.com/0uho1ikmo6tw/the-effect-of-the-neolithic-revolution-on-the-modern-world/

Third Agricultural Revolution!
A huge thing that came from the Green Revolution would be Genetically altered plants or GMO's. I chose this chart because it really puts in perspective how many foods are genetically altered. Without the use of biotechnology, which was taking off during this time period, scientists created a way to alter plants to produce a higher yield to feed the growing populations.
Sources (picture):
http://naturalrevolution.org/list-countries-banned-genetically-modified-food/

It is mostly used to help relieve pain and is widely used in prescription and over the counter pain medication. Opium is found in, codeine, morphine, oxycodone and hydrocodone.

Find a picture or diagram of what you envision the world would look like in the future if present day agricultural, economic, social, and political practices go unchecked.
the picture I chose to use was this one. In my opinion the meaning of this picture is kind of like a warning to people. The left side of the Earth is clean and not filled with pollution, but the right side, has skies that are filled with smog and pollution. The Earth on the right side looks depressing and it looks like Earth was stripped of all of its nutrients. I feel like this picture is showing us that if we do not put more effort into recycling or Eco-friendly, the Earth will eventually die out and not be able to sustain human life.
Sources: http://en.alalam.ir/news/1975815/climate-change-could-make-cities-8c-hotter--scientists
