I saw them in the hallways and even heard them paying their instruments later in the evening when I was trying to write an important email. My wife, Rita fell this weekend.. I am ashamed on how slow the response was from the hotel management. I find it strange that pool equipment was moved, leaving the floors and hallways wet, however no signage was put into place to warn guest about possible safety issues. Now addressing the pool, I wasn't even allowed to swim in the pool during my stay. I went to the trouble of buying and packing my new swimsuit. The staff could not give me an answer on when the pool would be reopen. To add to this already annoying experience, the hotel was understaffed and they seemed very stressed and frantic, which ruined my happy vibe. Also, the food was awful and after paying $8 dollars for a rum and coke some little drummer spilled it! Where did he even come from is my question??? They were aware of our lack of chaperones and dd nothing to help us manage our students. the breakdfast was COLD, LATE, NOT ENOUGH FOOD  for our growing student. We were told that we could attend breakfast outside our hotel if  it wasnt to our needs.
Then at our annual pool party they were late brining us dinner and didnt have enough staff serving us so we got our food late and AGAIN there wasnt enough of it to feed us.
We also requested a room for our students to practise in and they denyed the request and so our stdents were forced to practise in the stairwell where the accustics were not satisfactory.
we contracted local security from a company based on a recommendation from the hotel, and the guards didnot show up the first night and were essentially pilons the rest of the time! the hotel was aware we needed these guards to help control our students behaviour and didnt have any suggestions for a better company when we were dissatisfied with this performance.

We made sure to take great care in preparing them for all members part of the wedding group. Has a hotel, we take great pride in providing a friendly service, so I am glad this was provided as well. Now concerning the issues you faced during your stay, we had put in place some measures to separate both groups from one another, however it seems some of them were crafty in their methods of infiltration. It is unfortunate that this were to happen. I have since then have a meeting with all staff to go over a plan in order to better respond the such situations.
