I remember when you personally called me (before I joined BC) to explain that the road is tough trying to balance full-time work and PG studies at the same time, and making me deeply reflect if I was ready for the challenge/s ahead. I want to let you know that I truly appreciated that Whatsapp call we had. I want to let you know that the conversation I had with you gave me the mental prep I needed on what is ahead (#popup T.T). And finally, I want to let you know that the mental prep you helped me to reflect on allowed me to survive thus far. Sometimes, the biggest impact may not be the one which is the most obvious but rather, the one that subtly influences us to stand up against the challenges ahead. YOU are the latter and for that, I will be forever grateful for your leadership.

And speaking of adventures… our China trip! Hands down one of the most incredible experiences of my career. I still can’t believe I made it through that visa madness, but it was your (and Priyanka’s!) “you have to make this happen!” energy that got me across the line. I’ll never forget that.

You’ve left such a big mark, not just on the work we’ve done, but on me personally. Your humour, warmth, and full-of-life presence will be seriously missed.

From the very real fear of wearing shoes around you in our Edinburgh hotel room (and yes, there’s a witness who can confirm the intensity!) to relying on you for every single shopping expedition, it’s been nothing short of a legendary journey.

You’ve been more than just a boss, you’ve been a friend, a travel buddy, and the glue that held the APAC matrix together (even if you never forgave us KL hermits😁). Those trips weren’t just about work, fun and discovery - they built relationships that made a real difference, and the impact is out there for all to see.

It’s been truly wonderful working with you, and navigating the highs and lows of work together has only made the journey more special.
