Hello, my name is Mariah!! I was born and raised in Houston Texas and I love it here even though the heat gets a little too extreme. When I was younger every summer me and my family would go up to the Bronx, New York because that's where my mother is from and we would all visit family, have cookouts, and have fun. I absolutely love my family but my dogs have a special place in my heart. When I was 9 years old I had a dog named Lola and she had 6 puppies and I've raised all the doggies of that bloodline and now I only have 1 dog and her name is Benji.

I absolutely love food so this was a hard thing to do, however if I had to choose I would say orange chicken because I could never get tired of it no matter how much I eat. I love orange chicken no matter where I get it from, when I'm hungry its always my to-go food.

I have a lot of friends but my best best friends is handy! I met her in the 7th grade but we didn't get close until 8th and now we are in the 11th grade together and we are best friends. Another friend of mine is kayla! I was in her class in the 2nd grade until I moved schools and we met again in the 7th grade and has been close ever since.

When I get bored there is a lot of things that I do to help cure it. Usually I would try to turn on a movie but my attention span is not very great, then I would turn to you tube or anime. I say my favorite YouTuber is CoryxKenshin and my favorite anime is Haikyuu. When I'm so bored I try to take on more hobbies like painting, crocheting, and reading, cooking, and baking. This summer I read 6 books The golden summer, Rewind it back, Till summer do us part, The love hypothesis, and My problematic summer. I also love to cook and bake however I'm not that good at it.

Marching band

I've been in band since I was in the 6th grade and I play the tenor saxophone! band can get very stressfull, however I did learn a lot of lessons from being in band. Its taught me a lot about hard work, dedication, and more. Although it is fun winning, going to competition, and Friday football games there are a lot of things behind the scenes that is very hard. Spending 2-3 hours outside everyday 4-6, coming to practice on holidays, practicing your instruments hours, It's hard but my friends are always there with me to make sure I'm not alone.
