The Toronto Purchase (treaty 13) was established in 1787. It was a give away of the lands of Mississauga of the Credit to the British Crown. There were many disagreements for the agreement which is why the Toronto Purchase was finally settled in 1805. Then in 2010 the settlement was made with the Government of Canada.

Crawford's Purchase, 1783

Crawford's Purchase bought the land that makes up present-day Kingston. The terms of the agreement are disputed, as the Crown records a large area that spans from the tributary of the St. Lawrence to the Bay of Quinte. The Mississaugas, however, recall that they were forced to surrender their rights to the land within the range of a gunshot. This is why the treaty is nicknamed, the "Gunshot" treaty.

Brant Tract, Treaty 3 3/4, 1795
In exchange for the 3,450 acres, the Mississaugas received a sum of 100 pounds. In 1988, the Mississaugas of the New Credit made a claim against the government that the Crown paid less than the promised 100 pounds. In 2010, this was settled in conjunction with the Toronto Purchase claim for $145 million.
