1. JQuery

jQuery is a fast and concise of JavaScript Library. Created by John Resig, 2006.
Simply a JavaScript library to simplify JavaScript programming itself.

Today we do some exercise step by step.

Installation - Download jQuery library.
Basic Scripting - Accessing, SET or GET, Handle and Traverse HTML elements.
Selector Elements - Used to "find" HTML elements based on their name, id, classes, types, attributes, or values of attributes.

jQuery make it easy to:

Find - Elements in and HTML doc
Chage - HTML content
Listen - What user does and react accordingly
Animate - Content on page
Talk - over network to fetch new content

I know that AJAX:

Can makes web pages more responsive.
Allows the web page to change its content without refreshing the whole page.

By learning XML, I know that:

It is not to replace the HTML.
Users can define their own element’s tags and are case sensitive.

We have a lab exercise on JQuery, AJAX and XML to submit on 5 March 2017.

I am a little bit unclear about XML as the class is a 3 hour lecture and I'm tired just looking at the screen even Mr. Syafiq already gave us break between 1 hour lecture. (Otak jadi tepu sikit huhu, sorry Dr Sarina & En Syafiq)

Will do the lab exercise as soon as possible for better understanding about today class.
