Extra Problem in Weak areas for next time in between Worksheets

2. Teaching in the Child's Learning Style using the Child's purchased customized Workbook - go through pages (up to 3 students)

3. Engaged Learning ( no more than 2 minutes of lecture without letting them take turns)

Session Length:  Each tutoring session is 1 hour in length, unless told otherwise or if the student needs to stop earlier.  Classes are 2 hours. 

Meeting Platform: We utilize Zoom for classes and Tutorcuncher Video for tutoring sesssions

Your Background: Please have a blank wall with no furniture or household items visible behind you for sessions. Your video should be on at all times with the exception of tests.

Tutoring Session Content: A whiteboard is utilized during the session.  Worksheets are loaded onto the whiteboard. You can find the whiteboard link on the tutor session notes by double clicking it on your calendar. The whiteboard has pages that you can click on to go to on your right. Notes will be provided for each session as to which pages you should be completed, but do not feel the pressure to complete all pages and make notes in the "tutor notes" section on what pages you completed. 

Tools for Session: Please make sure that you are on a secure and fast Internet browser at the time of the session using a desktop or laptop device. Using a phone is prohibited except in emergencies. You will also need to have paper and a pen to take down notes from the session on the student's progress.  You will also need an updated browser compatible with Zoom, please test it previous to your session. 

Your Schedule: You are in control of your availability, schedule and assignments. Please update availability to the schedule you would like to have  in tutorcruncher to start being assigned more sessions. Should your availability change and we need to switch student assignments, please provide a two week notice. 

Your Contract Period: You will be sent a contract to be signed which will be for the current full school year. 

No Shows: Please only wait 15 minutes for a student. You may bill for 15 minutes wait time if the session was not pre canceled with notice. 

Invoice Submission: 

Please submit invoices here bi-weekly with a summary of what you worked. Invoices are paid on the 1st and 15th of each month, and only attended sessions or wait time is billable. Any invoiced time outside of sessions must be preapproved

Best Practice Session Steps: 

1. Please meet the student in the classroom link..

2. Introduce yourself as being a part of their tutoring team. 

3. Share the whiteboard link in the chat area so that they can write with you. For younger students, you may share your screen.

4. Complete worksheets focusing on delivery in the student's learning style, and provide extra pracice on weak areas along the way or note for next time.   You do not have to do all the worksheets you see.

5. Let the student know how many points they received based off of how many worksheets completed ( 1 worksheet = 1 point)  and they can cash in points for Amazon or AMC Movie Theatre Gift Cards on Reward days
