I really believe history is such a fascinating and captivating story of us! I became more interested in ethnic and cultural studies during my education at CSUF. I found the history I was being introduced to was so vastly different to the history I was taught as a k-12 student. I learned the stories that were swept under the rug; the stories of minorities, hidden figures, and moments in time that are so crucial and relevant to our current state of affairs. I became consumed with not only learning true and real history, but becoming an ambassador or spokesperson for these accounts.
