Teaching Philosophy

Those four elements are 1) what you believe the purpose of education to be, 2) your role as a teacher, 3) a statement about students, and 4) a statement about parents and community. In order to achieve these goals, I will need to have a clear understanding of those four important elements based on the importance of education, the role as a teacher, a statement about students, and a statement about parents and community. The first step is to define what we mean by of the purpose of education? and how it can be achieved. This is where I will begin with the definition of education. According to the definition, education is the process of acquiring knowledge, skills and abilities through which one learns or develops an attitude toward life. Therefore, is education really necessary for success in life because it is the most important factor in determining one's future career path. The second step is to determine the role of being a teacher in society. There are many different roles that teachers play in society, but they all have their own purposes. As stated above, the role of a teacher is to teach students about the world around them. The role of a teacher is to help students learn how to think critically and act on their own ideas. The third step is about the statement of students about themselves. This is where the student should be able to express himself or herself clearly and accurately without any fear of embarrassment or ridicule. The reason why is to make sure every students understand what they are learning and to give them the opportunity for self-reflection and self- improvement. The fourth step is about the statements of parents and community and how they can support the child's development. This is where the student should be able to explain his or her feelings and emotions in a way that is understandable to the child. Because it gives the parents and the community a chance of knowing what the child is feeling, they will feel more comfortable with their children.
