During this week I was able to learn about restrictive clause and non-restrictive clause, on that topic I was able to learn that when a sentence has a comma (,) and proper name it is a non-restrictive clause, but if it does not have a comma or proper name, it is a restrictive clause. Topic that was very easy to learn.And then I was able to find out a great verse in which it was Deuteronomy 31:8.

This week I learned about relative clauses, specifically relative pronouns. I learned that clauses are a group of words that include a subject and a verb, and that I can connect two or more sentences using a relative pronoun to create a relative clause. I also learned that relative clauses are named so because one clause is related to the other, and that the relative clause contains a word or phrase that is related to the main clause. Additionally, I learned that relative clauses can be defining/restrictive clauses and non-defining/non-restrictive clauses, and how to identify them through the use of commas and the use of a proper noun in the non-restrictive clause.

I know that restritive clauses do not have a comma (,) nor do they have a proper noun, I know how to identify them in sentences
and I know that the non restritive clause has propert noun, comma and places.

What I would like to know is, having more relative pronouns to gain a better understanding of the topic. Additionally, I would appreciate having more practice opportunities.

This is a clause that generally modifies a noun or a noun phrase and is often introduced by a relative pronoun (which, that, who, whom, whose). A relative clause connects ideas by using pronouns that relate to something previously mentioned and allows the writer to combine two independent clauses into one sentence. A relative clause is also known as an adjective clause. There are two types of relative clauses: restrictive and nonrestrictive.

This week, I've gained a comprehensive understanding of relative clauses, specifically relative pronouns. I now know that a clause consists of a subject and a verb, and that I can use relative pronouns to link two or more sentences, creating a relative clause. I've also grasped that these clauses are called 'relative' because they are connected to the main clause, with the relative clause containing information related to the main clause. Furthermore, I've learned to distinguish between defining/restrictive and non-defining/non-restrictive clauses, and how to differentiate them based on the use of commas and the inclusion of proper nouns in the non-restrictive clauses. This knowledge has deepened my understanding of English grammar and sentence structure, allowing me to write more complex and precise sentences. In addition, I learned In the Deutoronpomian verse 31:8, God emphasizes that he goes before us, assuring us that he will be with us, he will not abandon us and asks us not to be afraid or intimidated. This passage highlights my trust in divine protection and guidance.
