All over, swifting freely.  I feel you would want to use all of your space to entertain your audience. You don’t want to be in just one spot for an entire performance. Using up all the space can give up a certain look to the audience.I f you don't use up all the space it may be to cramped for the dancers to move. The dance may not look at graceful or fluid as it should with the limited space if you don't use it all. A particular reason you wouldn't use all the stage space could be because the dance is intended to be close together. For instance, my dance can be in the shape of a star which can illustrate Christmas or the season. Also, using all the space available on a stage can allow the audience to see the dance in a bigger and bolder way. 
   Using all the space available on stage can be a disadvantage. The dancers could be so close to one another, they could ruin the dance. This disadvantage can also cause dancers to injury their self. Lastly, the audience could get confused on the message the dance sends. 
I believe space is needed. When you use the whole stage you can make the dance full out. I think it would be effective to not use the whole stage because if your in a large group if yall are close it could add tension to the dance. I say this because when dancing you should have as much space that’s possible. I would want to use  all the stage I can when dancing because it makes the dance more coordinated and it makes the dance look better because when we are dancing we look more organized.
