His father left them to go to Germany, and got remarried even though he was still married to Bridget during that time. When William was 18 he goes to Germany to reconnect with his father, and visit Adolf in person. When he arrived back in England he wrought some unfavorable articles about his Uncle which enraged Adolf an made William take them down. Later on when it became public news that William is related to the Nazi leader William was fired from his a Job i. England.
