I also think that the text to speech setting would be beneficial for the ELL and the EC students who get their tests read aloud to them. This also makes it easier on the teacher because they don't have to worry about a person mispronouncing a word that is key for them to understand the question or answer choices. The question scramble is also good in case students want to try to get answers from another computer and they won't be on the same screen,

Out of all of the test settings, I feel the setting that would be most helpful to my first grade students would be the reset option. Mostly because students sometimes will rush through a test just to be able to do something else that is more exciting for them. Or you never know when a child may get sick while they are taking a test, so if they don't feel good they maybe just clicking and not focusing on the test and just trying to get through it because they don't feel good.

I feel the reset option is a good one to have in case of an emergency like a fire drill, lockdown or student sickness. Sometimes students click a wrong button by mistake or are just having a bad day. This feature would be helpful in any of these situations. The text to speech feature would be helpful to use with my ELL students. I also like the fact that I can go in and edit the actual questions and answer choices within a test (about a passage that has already been generated) if I am not satisfied with the original one.

This helps students stay focused to finish test in a timely manner and prevent looking up answers. The setting to display test on student homepage is very helpful so students are not looking all around for test. The time test option helps to allow the test to be automatically submitted. Sometimes students forget to hit the submit button. Allowing students to pause the test is also a good setting especially for those who may be experiencing anxiety and need a quick break and also this option is used on NC final exams so students will be familiar with it.
