The introduction chunk of the story really immersed me in and got me intrested to read more. The introduction to all the characters was very vivid and gave me a real idea about Williams personality and appearance. Billy's ocerance at the reef had a lot of bits to piece together, example he saw a massive sea-monster in the water and giant squid and then he passes out and wakes up to Mister G asking if he was okay. Then billy explained that he saw the huge sea creatures, but as soon as Mister G heard Billy screaming he swam over as fast as he could and didn't see anything apart from Billy splashing franticley in the water using his imagination, Mister G didn't hesitate to believe it was was his imagination either, Billy had always been an imaginative

kid. but as the story progressed I understood why this event took place in the way that it did. I really enjoyed how the book was written, The descriptive language, the immersive value of the language used and all around an interesting book to read.
