Making sure the data is meaningful to the students

There should be multiple ways of creating data, not just ABC tests.  Rubrics, Essays, Project based etc..........

There needs to be a connection between the data and the students.  

Testing data cannot be the only measure of the value of a students learning

Focus on data needs to increase focus on student, not decrease.  We need to focus on learning, if we are always gathering data of improvement when is improvement happening?
