The process and effort is the part that needs the praise, not the outcome and achievement.

1. Growth Mindset can be applied to more than education. Growth Mindset can be a way of life - encouraging a more positive outlook on all scenarios and situations.
2. Process Over Perfection [clapping emoji]. The process of getting to the goal is more important than completing/achieving the goal. Did you work hard to get to your goal? Thomas Edison found 10,000 ways not to make a lightbulb that helped him find the one way that worked. If he didn't have that process of 10,000 wrong lightbulbs, his one lightbulb would not have felt like such an achievement.
3. Teachers are more likely to believe that students can change their behavior than students are. Growth mindset is a tool we can use to help students believe in themselves and their ability to change the outlook of their education.
