Formal, non-formal, informal - intertwined

It looks like we are all trained to be formal teachers, to know what, where and when to teach. But (there is always that little but) world changes in such a pace, it is impossible to be 100% formal.
I believe that the future of education is on us teachers to accomplish. I think we are now even more important than ever before. But(here it is again) we must evolve too.
It s now very important for us to comprehend that the way we learn is more important than what we try to learn.
I think that non-formal learning is probably the future. The middle way, as the ancient Greeks said (Aristotle)

The importance of PLN

A PLN gives an opportunity to have a solution to your problems almost the very moment they occur. I have a very good connection with my colleagues, both from my school I work in and with my pears on our local level. In Croatia we have something called Županijski aktiv nastavnika (Association of all math teachers in one county). We meet three times a year, but we are in connection via e-mail and viber/watsapp.
I agree that there would be more efficient if we had an online place we could meet more often.

I found this article so inspiring because it gives a couple of reasons for being an online teacher. I think that we cannot teach our students to be open for new ideas, and on the other hand not to be online, in one way or another. More people know more, or to rephrase it, more people know how to teach the same thing in so many other ways. It is all offered online, we only need to use it.
