- What are the main touristic places in your city or town? 

The main touristic places in Santander de Quilichao are , Cerro Garrapatero – San Antonio, Chorrera Cueva del Indio, Río Quilichao, El Palmar, Capilla de Dominguillo, Salto del Tigre, mirador Belen, and the chrurch Santísima Trinidad.

 

The typical food in my city is _Lamb or kid meat is one of the most typical dishes of this region. They serve it fried, roasted or baked, in all three ways it is delicious. It is a dish that you eat with the Santanderean arepa, another sweetie and a mute soup. 

Another typical dish is the Santanderean arepa, it is prepared with corn dough, which is roasted and served as an accompaniment to almost all meals. It is one of Santander's delights. 

And finally the mute is a soup that has beef or pork substance, chopped tripe, potatoes, some grains, spices and the mute, which is the grain of corn to which a process to make it white.

 

is prepared with 4 kg goat meat, 1 glass of water and another of white wine, 70 g. of lard, 

2 garlic cloves, aromatic herbs such as thyme, fresh rosemary and Salt.

 

The main celebrations in my city are: Holy Week in Santander de Quilichao for a few years has been gaining more strength and a larger congregation of parishioners.

The “Fugas” in Santander de Quilichao, are considered one of the greatest patrimonies of the Quilichagüeña and North Caucasus culture.

And the Fairs in Santander de Quilichao which are held for almost a week where people come from all over Colombia

People usually during Holy Week, people gather in the church and watch the processions that pass through the entire city and celebrate the traditions of this very special week.

In "Las Fugas" the communities gather with special joy and participate year after year in the Caravans of Joy, organized and promoted by the Municipal Administration of Santander de Quilichao.

Finally, at the fairs, expo-business, craft, equine and canine activities are organized. There will be the second version of the youth concert, the fourth meeting of music lovers and collectors, the children's fair, the second national BMX championship, an automobile parade and the presentation of artists

 

In my city visitors can enjoy the best ecological sites, where you can have recreation through its different tourist attractions, as well as enjoy the best traditional foods and rest in the hotels in the city. There are many places for family enjoyment, which have a lot to offer in terms of entertainment and fun.
