My mom is pretty and strong. She has a warm smile and shiny black hair. She goes to work, but she always makes sure to say goodbye to me before I leave for school. My mom always makes me happy, and she is always proud of me. I love my mom because she gives me the things I need and is always there to have my back. She gives me lots of kisses and hugs, which make me feel loved. My mom has kind eyes that make me feel safe. She is the best because she takes care of me and makes me feel special every day.

For a fashion show I would design an eye catching evening gown that blends modern style with a bold twist. The top of the dress is made from sheer black fabric, decorated with sliver thread in shiny, geometric pattern's. It has a unique neckline that slopes to one side, and one shoulder is covered in hand-sewn crystals that would catch every movement. The skirt is made of flowing midnight-blue silk with a high slit on one side. A shiny belt wraps around the waist, and the outfit is finished with stylish cuffs at the wrist. This looks combines strength and elegance giving it a classic look.

Japan is known for all of the beautiful views it has to offer. From the high Mt. Fuji, to the vibrant cherry blossom trees, or the bright and busy streets of Tokyo. But from all my previous trips, my favorite view has been the one right under my nose—literally. The fragrant and warm bowl of ramen that sits on my table. The hot gusts of air peppers my face like familiar kisses, sending me back to the very first time I went to Japan.

I first discovered this small traditional stall when we were lost in Osaka. Until now, I don’t know the name because of the battered down sign and the owner who struggles with english, but I believe that this stall was easily the brightest highlight to my day. Despite the owner stumbling with his words, he still manages to greet us with the most welcome of smiles. The scent of his food surrounds the entire area, drawing us in despite how far we are. Whenever I do eat there, the food sustains and satisfies every part of my body. Not only does it feel like heaven on the tongue, but it is also a treat to the nose and a gentle embrace to the body.

This may seem dramatic, but it is true. Even if it is considered “beaten down”, I have never experienced a meal fill me up in the way the ramen from this stall has—and no other shop keeper can compare to the welcoming energy that Mr. Watanabe showed us in all of our trips to his humble shop.

Yoonsu Oh - Transportation (Flight Attendant or Pilot)

A smooth flight at night is suddenly disrupted by a loud bang after a flock of birds hit the turbulence, sending drinks flying and overhead cabins shake. Passengers panic, gripping tight to their chairs and screams filling the hall. The flight attendants quickly checks the seatbelts and manage the situation. I try my best to remain my composure because I am the pilot and the lives of the passengers are in my hand. I send out a message through the intercoms, as my deep and steady voice reassures the shaken passengers. Despite the dangerous situation the crew’s professionalism and the pilots locked in mindset keeps the atmosphere controlled during a sudden turbulence.

The software defense system or the “SDS” will make people feel secured. It is a strong algorithm that destroys anything that may affect your device negatively. When breach is detected, there will be an audible alarm, but be assured that the app has already taken care of it. The SDS will also keep a record of how many times your device has been breached. This will look like a list where each detection will have the time, the date, and the virus that could have affected your device. we have made it absolutely sure that this is appealing to the eyes. To sum it all up, the SDS is like a guard that will keep you comforted and worry-free and we will make sure that you feel safe.

Growing up, I loved my mom's cooking. Yes, we don't usually see eye to eye, but we can both agree that her cooking is the best. One of my favorite dishes she'd always make for me was her Carbonara Pasta. The sauce was so creamy, like I was eating a cloud. I never liked seafood since the taste of fish felt like eating the ocean itself. But one of her secret ingredients in that dish was tuna. I never got nauseous or disgusted by it because of how good it was. Whenever she made this dish, it felt like fireworks were going off in my mouth. It was spicy yet got washed over by a splash of the cream. She'd only make it whenever there's a special occasion, though, and that is why I made this dish our restaurant's signature dish. So that every time you come to this restaurant and order this dish, it would always be a special occasion.

Upon arrival at the emergency room, the patient was awake and aware of their surroundings but they looked very distressed and in pain. They were breathing fast and had a quick heartbeat. Their blood pressure was high and their skin looked pale. The patient said they suddenly felt a sharp pain in their chest. They also felt dizzy, out of breath, and a little sick to their stomach. We immediately brought the patient into the treatment area and started checking their vital signs regularly.

Oxygen was given to help with their breathing, and an IV line was set up in case it was needed quickly. While the nurse stayed beside the patient to help keep them calm, I ordered an ECG to check their heart and some blood tests to look for signs of a heart attack. The patient was still holding their chest and said the pain was getting worse.

We let them know we were doing everything we could.

After a few minutes, the ECG results came back and showed changes in the heartbeat that could mean the patient was having a heart attack. We quickly gave medicine to help with the chest pain and to ease the pressure on the heart. Everyone on the team worked fast but stayed calm, knowing we had to act quickly. We also called for the cardiology team to prepare in case the patient needed to be taken to the cath lab. The patient stayed awake, and we reassured them that they were in good hands as we continued with treatment.

For my research, I walked into the rainforest to observe about the natural environment. As I stepped into the rainforest, the air around me was hot, thick and humid. It was like a warm blanket around me, but I could also feel cool winds that hits my body. Tall trees were wrapped by rain. Water was dropping from the leaves in the trees. The scent I could smell around trees was wet earth by the rain. The ground feels soft and spongy under my feet. The birds were whistling. The insects buzzing, and the rustling of leaves. The nature I observed were amazing and astonishing.

What I witnessed when I got in the scene was 10 robbers inside the biggest bank in the city. They were all shouting and fighting the people inside the bank. The robbers held hostages inside the bank who are innocent. I heard a lot of sounds from the bank, they were probably trying to get in to the vault. I heard a lot of screaming and gun shots. I felt really bad for the people inside I knew they were scared.After sometime they all surrendered due to the lack of time and they were probably scared because of how many police officers were outside. When I caught the robbers I cuffed them up and they knew what they did was wrong, they were begging me to not cuff them. This scene that I responded to was probably the most scariest and tiring scene I have went to. It was really scary due the many innocent lives at risk. At the end I learned that this job is no joke and I have to do my best. I love my job because I can save peoples lives that are at risk.
