         <description><![CDATA[<p>Origin</p><p>Halloween comes from the ancient Celtic festival called Samhain, celebrated over 2,000 years ago in Ireland, Scotland, and northern France.</p><p>The Celts believed that on the night of October 31st, the boundary between the world of the living and the dead disappeared, and spirits could return to Earth.</p><p>Later, the Catholic Church turned this date into All Saints’ Day (All Hallows’ Day), and the night before became All Hallows’ Eve, which eventually shortened to Halloween.</p><p><br></p><p>Carved pumpkins: The people use the pumkint for to make or draw about fear faces for to decorate their houses or gardens</p><p>Costumes: The people usually use the costums about diferent characters like a movies or series they have to do that if they want candys</p><p>Trick-or-treating: When the children want candys they have to say trick or treat, and if their neighbors don't give candys the childrens are going to do pranks for example throw eggs on their Windows</p><p>Decorations: houses are decorated with cobwebs, skeletons, bats, pumpkins, and orange and black lights.</p><p>Parties and parades: people celebrate with music, dancing, food, and costume contests.</p><p>Modern Meaning</p><p>Today, Halloween is mainly celebrated in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, but it has also spread to many other countries, including Colombia and Latin America.</p><p>It is now seen as a fun, creative, and family-friendly celebration, often connected with fear, fantasy, and mystery.</p>]]></description>
