I'm writing this to you. Maybe you're 18 now, or maybe much older, somewhere in your 20s or even 30s. It’s not too far from where I am, but still far enough that I hope my thoughts still matter to you.

As I write this, I'm currently 17 years old, and I wonder about the many events and situations that you've experienced, the challenges you overcame, and the many lessons you had to learn to become who you are now.

Though I don't know much right now, I'm still trying to figure out the small things. I'm still learning who I want to be in this world, and most importantly, I'm in the process of transitioning from high school to college, and that's a really big deal. But even so, I'm still undecided. I'm not sure what kind of course and after-college plan to take, let alone what kind of life I want to live.

I really wonder how differently things will change for me and what kind of choices I have to make to finally know what to do. Though I'm at this stage where I'm still trying to find my role in life, I at least hope you know where you're going, even if it's not something too specific that you've decided on. I hope you're closer to the answer than I am, and most importantly, you've grown to be proud of whatever choices you've made that have shaped who you have become.
