1) I think the theme that is reveled throughout Dickinsons poem has a very interesting and deep meaning. She highlight the dynamics of predators and prey, but not involving in a traditional manner, instead of killing rather setting free. I think this relates to a larger theme of good is left in humanity.

2) If you consider living deliberately, it is as simple as living with purpose, finding a reason to live and enjoy life. I think that in America we do not live deliberately, across much of the world people do not live deliberately. The things that people let stress them out, make them not live live with a purpose, and instead they need to focus on living with full reason and enjoying life.

3) Dickinsons poem directly relates to the question, because it highlights throughout the poem that not all things are lost, just as seen in the title, there is still hope. Having the hope developed is something that can help live life deliberately and that is something that is directly seen throughout Dickinsons poem.

4) One of my friends I would consider to help relate back to Dickinson's idea of hope. Every time I become stressed and am starting to loose hope, they remind me that I am almost there and I can do it. It is all about developing the sense of hope and trust with whatever you are doing and this friend helps me to believe this.

To live deliberately means to live in such a way that your life has purpose. In doing so allowing an individual to take charge in their lives and pave the way for their future. By living deliberately an individual is allowed to leave a positive impact on society. This lifestyle is what society is made up of, people's values and morals are what allow for diversity in the world. This is present in public movements, strikes and protests in which individuals are attempting to better their future for not only themselves but for the greater good no matter the cause. By responding to change an individual can allow fate to be in their hands instead of letting others decide for them. Dickinson's poem relates to living deliberately as the poem's theme is hope. As hope allows for individuals to become empowered and gives them the courage to move on each and everyday. The poem discusses the matter of hope never asking for anything in return but yet fuels the desires of many individuals to find their own destiny. A person in my life that lives deliberately is my mother. My mother has a major impact on my life as she impacts all my decisions and I learn from hers as well which in a way is allowing for the both of us to take charge of our fate.

1. Emily Dickinson's poem is saying that everyone has hope inside of them, it may not be flying, just perched, but it is there. The theme is that hope is always giving to us and never asking anything in return.
3. When living deliberately, often there are challenges and struggles and hard times. These instances lead people to feel like giving up and that all hope is lost, it's not. This is because hope is always inside of you and you just need to let it come out of it's nest for it to shine.
4. A person in my life that lives their life to the fullest and when something hard comes their way they rely on hope is my grandma. This is because through her troubles she perseveres. A few years ago, she was put in the ICU because she was extremely sick and couldn't function. They found out that she had a blood infection and that she could die in an instant. She fought through all of the trials and tribulations and did everything the doctors asked. We couldn't see her for 5 months because of her condition and it was really hard for our family. However, she battled through the pain and was able to heal from this experience. Now, she continues to do everything as if this never happened. Just a couple months after this happened, she was back on the Disney Cruise ship where she was right before this happened. This displays the hope, as she fought so she could continue to live on this earth, and living her life deliberately as she hasn't stopped traveling and exploring the world, as she did before this even occurred.

This lifestyle is shown in my world by my parents. Their purpose and goals are to give me and my siblings everything that we need and be able to provide for us and when they retire, be able to live happily together. I think that if something changes but you still work towards the end goal you want, it would still be living deliberately just in a different way with different choices.
3) I think that if everyone is living deliberately then everyone has hope because they have goals and something they are working towards so they have to have hope that it will work out in the end.
4) Someone in my life that has never ending hope is my grandma.

Emily Dickinson's poem, “Hope” is a thing with feathers, conveys themes of joy, which are associated with hope, and themes of despair, which elevate the importance of hope by describing a troublesome scene where hope could have been absent.

I believe that living deliberately implies living with extreme purpose. Every action and word said is intentional, having a desired result. In the world, individuals who live deliberately are extremely cautious, often weighing the outcomes of their actions. In addition, individuals often choose to live deliberately when faced with change. All individuals have the opportunity to react positively or negatively to change. However, being proactive and readily facing the trials associated with change ensure that you are living deliberately.

Dickinson's poem, “Hope” is a thing with feathers, relates to living deliberately because hope drives one’s incentive to live deliberately. Individuals who live deliberately set goals for themselves, always striving to complete them. Individuals can only accomplish their goals if they continue to have hope by believing in themselves. Therefore, living deliberately is unattainable without hope.

My grandfather captures Dickinson's illustration of hope and living deliberately. Through his intense hope and desire to learn, my grandfather was the first person in his family to attend college at the University of Illinois. Later, he taught muscular and anatomy classes at the University of Illinois. However, he deliberately decided to help others by becoming a teacher. My grandfather taught math for over 40 years. When he retired, he did not stop, but continued to work as a substitute teacher.

1. The theme of the poem is that hope is free and can always be with you. Dickinson explains to the audience that when all seems to be going downhill that there is always a possibility that everything will work out for the best however unlikely that may seem.
2. To live deliberately means to step back and see where you need to improve yourself or the world around then make a change in your lifestyle that works to fix the problem. This is evident today as people see that the Corona Virus is spreading by person-to-person contact. People are staying home and quarantining themselves so as to restrict the spread. To live deliberately and in response to change, one should react as positively as they can and make the best of the situation in which they find themselves.
3. This relates to Dickinson´s poem because in order to remain positive in a situation you have to have hope that things will will get better. Dickinson states that you can always remain hopeful in any situation because hope is free and unlimited.
4. My mother captures Dickinson´s idea of hope and lives deliberately. She shows me every day how blessed we are and how we can bless other peoples lives. When bad things happen she always hopes for the best and never lets bad things get her down.

I see this lifestyle more in people who are less stressed in their lives. People who live with less cares about money or personal gain and more in happiness and personal development.
3)Sometimes there will be trials. Sometimes you think that you can't control things. Sometimes things will be taken from you and you can't control them. But it is the hope that you will one day receive the ability to make your life what you want which is living deliberately.
4) My cousin is a good example of a person who lives deliberately. Hope always perseveres.
2) I think living deliberately means living intentionally, and being mindful of people around us and paying attention to their specific needs. Right now, our world is changing and adapting to a new lifestyle. We have to have a positive mindset and be mindful of our actions and our time (procrastination for some of us, or quality time with loved ones). This is a new time of being mindful.
3) Dickinson's poem relates to the essential question because "Hope" continues to push on and never stops. Hope is always there. If we live deliberately, we'll be able to stop and seek out hope when we think we can't find it.
4) My dad lives deliberately and has a different perspective of hope than most. When he's making decisions, he thinks about what's best for me and my brothers, and makes us his priority. Another theme is that hope is a one way gift, as it never asks for anything in return.
2. To live deliberately means to live with purpose, to do things with a strong reason behind them rather than just doing things recklessly. This is present in things such as protests around the world, with people fighting for a strong reason, to get something done to benefit others and themselves. To live deliberately in the face of change, one can choose to respond to it in a positive way. They can accept that it is something that inevitably happens and then they can use it to benefit them.
3. Dickinson's poem relates to living deliberately as the theme in the poem is hope and hope can give a person incentive to live deliberately. Hope gives someone a reason to do things, so they can reach some goal that they have, and it gives their life more purpose.
4. Someone in my life that lives deliberately is my mom. My mom lives deliberately as she works hard at everything she does and she gives every decision she makes lots of thought.

1.) Emily Dickinson's poem discusses a few ideas that connect to the overarching theme of hope in which it blossoms in people and never asks of anything in return. The hope that one holds on to is only there until we decide to longer believe in it.

2.) Living deliberately to me entails living with a purpose. In a world where constant change is occurring, it's very easy to lose yourself in the chaos surrounding you. Responding to changes or choosing to live with a purpose and a set of goals or determined mindset is what living deliberately is. Rather than sitting by and watching the world move, the act of living deliberately is joining in with this constant movement.

3.) Emily Dickinson's poem relates to the idea of living deliberately as hope is a manifestation that takes effort to hold on to. People that choose to live deliberately also choose to hold on to this idea of hope and use it in their lives to accomplish their goals and enact the changes they wish to achieve.

4.) The ideas of hope and living deliberately are embodied by my dad. As a young adult, my dad moved from his childhood life in Mexico to work in a growing NW Arkansas. He left his life back in a different country and did so with the desire to achieve his goals and desires in the US. My dad exemplifies these ideas as he held on to the ideas of hope and progressed his life with a purpose to achieve something greater.

1. Emily Dickinson is trying to say that hope is something that is always present. It is ever relentless and is present in every aspect of life. She shows this with the image of birds and how they are throughout the world and may hide during storms but always return to bring joy.

2. Living deliberately means to have a purpose and then doing everything with that purpose in mind and achieving it. This is done by making a plan and acting on that plan. To achieve this you are not distracted by outside elements and also respond to change positively by developing new ways to stay on track. With a proper response, you can stay focused and productive to ensure that you are living deliberately.

3. This poem relates to living deliberately by how hope is one means through which you can achieve your purpose. There are always setbacks and a key part to living deliberately is fighting through these and doing what you desire. Hope can help you through this because it gives you motivation and a sense that the best is yet to come.

4. Someone in my life that captures both of these elements is my dad. He has had a long and rough fight to move up the system and get to where he is today. Through countless setbacks he has still maintained his undeniable drive that has been going on the hope for creating a better life.

Through my eyes, to live deliberately means to live your life the way you want to live it. When one lives deliberately, they either choose or create their own path in life and dont necessarily worry about whats to come in the future. They dont like to have others make the decisions for them, but rather make the decisions for themselves and live life independently in peace and harmony. I believe that the life style of living deliberately can be seen anywhere you go. It doesn't matter what side of the world you're on, because it all really depends on the individual(s) who decide(s) to partake in this way of living. If one chooses to respond to change in a positive manner, then that means that they're deciding to respond to it deliberately. Living the deliberate lifestyle is supposed to be seen as something positive, not negative.
Dickinson's poem relates to the question above because it touches on positive subjects such as hope. Through my perspective, Dickinson's poem taught me a lesson as to how to live deliberately. It focused only on the positive, not the negative, and it gave me a sense as to what the deliberate lifestyle is supposed to look like.

In my life, the person who captures Dickinson's illustration of hope and living deliberately the best is my grandmother. My grandmother was raised in a very poor family, but because of her ambitious personality, poverty never stopped her from pursuing her dreams of receiving an education and getting a well paying job to put food on the table. She could have easily decided to not go to school and not get a job, but she decided to live her life deliberately by working hard to help others in her family get food and other things that they needed

1) The theme that is expressed is the idea of predator in prey and in this case the prey would be hope and the predator is the world around us and how it impacts us

2) To live deliberate means to live with intention; to live with a purpose. We see this a lot in America because a lot people go around and live a life just to have fun and not really care and what I choose to do and ignore it and focus my time and energy to a goal that will make me very successful

3) What Dickinson is doing is illustrating the idea of hope which ties into the idea of being able to do feel motivated so you can make a change for the better and this relates to the idea of living deliberately because you are going out of your way to make sure what achieve success

4) My father is the person who makes live deliberately for the better. Always ensuring that my more important actions are for my own benefit and do not have a negative on impact on my chance of success

1)The theme is Dickinson poem is how hope is always within us even in the most unfortunate situations.
2)To live deliberately means that you follow a path but you created it yourself. So you do things that make you happy and following the path you designed doesn’t hold you back from doing something you desire. You should respond to change by always finding a positive in that situation and working through so that it doesn’t affect you or guide you to steer off from your path.
3) Emily Dickinson poem relates to the idea of living deliberately because feeling hope is what motivates you to be productive and positive so that you can fight through these setbacks and wait for the best things in life to come.
4) The person in my life that captures Dickinson's illustration of hope and the idea of living deliberately is my mom. She came from different country when she was 17 years old and was introduced to a completely new environment but she was determined to live the lifestyle she always dreamed of, she went to school while still managing her jobs and never gave up even during difficult times.

People to feel like giving up and that all hope is lost, it's not. It is just the beginning and living deliberately means to be the person who didn't give up.

A person in my life who I feel lives deliberately is my mom, she has to put up with me and my siblings and recent loss, but she is always there for us even when she is feeling her worst she will always be there and teach us to never give up that things do get better you just have to want them too.

To live deliberate believe living deliberately is such a good way of living. Its living your life the way you wanna live it and not. It a way of living with full purpose and not being prostituted or in danger or anything. In the eyes of Walter, he would say this is living with freedom and not being looked apon differently because of the skin color difference. I dont have a personal story but I have watched the movie Yes Man. Such a great movie and probably describes living deliberately the best. He lives with purpose.

Dickinson's poem relates to how living deliberately by emphasis the theme of hope and never giving up. Someone who I think exemplifies this is my grandmother. When she was young her father died and was raised by her mother for a couple of years, then her grandma, and eventually her sisters. She changed schools around 20 times, but she didn't let the burden of change allow her to be weighed down by her own mentality. She grew old enough to decide what to do with her life and always kept hope.
