Difficulty to support students with complex cases that would typically sit with Unify/complex case managers - it is time consuming nature to get for e.g. Acute Care Team to assess - it sometimes takes hours to be on phone, write letters, advocate - find appropriate - community services not streamlined.

Successful initiatives and projects include the review on the student incident report process; developing therapeutic resources for counselling staff and setting up waiting area resources across our campuses

An emerging opportunity could be with the School of Health "fit for placement team". They have been requesting information related to students reporting incidents though the system so they can develop a more nuanced approach to assessing risk.

We could also use more training in responding to students in distress, particularly "communicating" with someone who is distressed. We would also appreciate more observations of the triage team at work to understand the process more.

We would like to provide information sessions to other student facing teams on student wellbeing and making referrals to student wellbeing. Group work facilitation would also be something else we are interested in learning more about.

We could strengthen our relationships with other teams by coordinating a list of visits by community organisations or guest presentation.
