I started this book on October 24 and finished it on October 27. This is a great book about a boy whose family first likes the Nazis and then realizes they are wrong. He later makes pamphlets that show that the Nazis are horrible but gets caught. I would give this book 5 starts because it is written in a very interesting way. The author writes about when he is in prison and of his memories when he was young so you read about him in two different times in his life. This book shows all the different ways that the Nazis hurt people. I would also give this 5 stars because it has lots of character change and strong emotion.

There country is recruiting kids to join the adolescent army by taking a test but know one knows what they will do in that army. Mathilde and her best friend Megs take the test. She knows if either of them pass they will be separated from each other and from the families. For how long, no one knows. I give this book 5 stars. This book shows the power of friends, family and strangers as well as how children have the same and more amount of bravery, creativity and brains as adults.

I started this book on October 22 and ended it on October 22. I think this book is really nice. The author writes in poetic form that shows in first person how Syvia the main character lives through the ghetto in Lodz, Poland and becomes one of the 800 out of 270,00 survivors. Only 12 of those were children. She was one of them. This book is filled with a lot of descriptive emotion so that when Syvia struggles the reader feels sad and when Syvia is saved or safe you take a deep breath and are happy that Syvia is not in danger. That is why I give this book 5 starts.

I started this book on January 4 and ended it on January 11. I would give this book 2 stars. I would give it two stars because even though the social issue is very interesting the way that the author portrays it is not good. The characters are also not described very well. Though some parts of the book may be suspenseful over all the book is boring.

I started this book on May 11 and ended it on the same date. I would rate this book 3.5/5 stars. This is my rating because the book is very vague, unrealistic and sometimes very complicated. The plot itself was interesting and the style in which it was written it nice.

I started this book May 17 and ended it on May 18. I would rate this book 3.5/5 stars because the whole book it about the wedding and the author does not write about the wedding, she skips over it, so that is disappointing. Also all the other books in the series have multiple view points while this has only one, which is the other disappointing thing.

I started this book on May 29 and finished it on June 8. I would give this book 4 stars. This rating is because it is a good story but does not build excitement for anything big that happens in the story. Any main events are very subtle and not exciting.
