There are four main esssential services under this core function:<br>1. Enforce laws and regulations to protect health and ensure safety (e.g., FDA drus approval and food safety).<br>2. Link people to needed  health services and when unabailable, ensure the provision of health care (e.g., Community health  centers).<br>3. Ensure the provision of a competent public and personal healthcare workforce (e.g., licensure of physicians and nurses)<br>4.Evaluate effectiveness, accessibility, and quality of health services (e.g., development of evidence-based recomendations)</div>]]></description>
