It seems to match because Rome had problems with hygiene, sanitation and health, which matches the SDG 3. The Sustainable Development Goal number 3 is about helping people live a healthier and better life. Which could have helped Rome with their sanitation and health problems. This SDG would have helped Rome with many of their problems like led poisoning, the outbreaks of malaria, food poisoning from under cooked food, and the chance of getting head lice and worms. SDG 3 really would have saved the lives of anybody who got sick, and made sure that everybody in the Roman Empire had equal rights and the same hygiene and sanitation. For example, consider the threat of climate change. Researchers say that climate change may result in changed disease patterns, making communities susceptible to different illnesses. Additionally, climate change has also been linked to an uptick in floods, wildfires, and superstorms, all of which can play huge roles in harming human health. Poor industrial hygiene is another example of how environmental factors can impact wellness. As ¨Verywell Health¨ notes, “Many of the materials needed to advance industries and technology ..., can also hurt the human body and even lead to serious medical conditions.” To rephrase, industries that are irresponsible with manufacturing and disposable waste, are poisoning the natural world, and can our physical well-being.
