I live in Binh Duong province and I just move here 3 days ago. I have been learning english for 8 years since I was 10. I come to Rmit to be an entrepreneur so I plan to learn international business and logistics, they are not popular majors here, however, I want to try the new program in business segment. Regarding HCM city, I am not sure what I like here but I concern about the traffic systems, they are really crazy. I usually make the most of my free time to improve myself such as learning or reading something new, sometimes I hang out with friends and hold a party.

Hello everyone, I am Morris and I live in Binh Duong province. I have been in HCM city for 3 days.If my memory serves me right, I learned English when I was 5 years old and at this time I didn’t know exactly about the importance of language so I did ignore it. Luckily, when I find English is an essential thing in life, I still have a chance to follow it. And I hate the tedium so I choose professional communication for my field and RMIT is the best choice about this platform.To be honest, I am not familiar with the hustle and bustle of this city 🥹. I am still trying to integrate with the atmosphere at here. Talk about my favorite activities in my free time, I often spend most of this time for chilling such as listening to music, taking photos or going to the cinema alone.

Hello guys, my name is Xuan but you can call me Xun for short. I'm "Saigonese" and I love this city so much. I think I have learned English for nearly 10 years. However, at first I didn't like this subject, everything was terrible for me even though I know English is the important element for my future career. After a while, when I recognised I want to be an oversea student, if I want to communicate with other people in other countries, I need to be fluent in English and I believe it is the key can help us to understand each other, so I think the time when I actually learned English was probably 2 years ago. I put all my attempt to improve my all skills and tried so hard to go to my dream place. My uni plan is simple. I just want to graduate on time, earn a lot of money and then travel, especially that "dream place". I don't know but it's the "second best place" EVER 😌. The first place is Saigon obviously 🤧.
When I have free time, I usually hang out with my friend. I like the feeling using my scooter to go around Saigon to see some spectacular views like this, feel the slow wind in our hair and eat some specific foods that nowhere else has. Those activities are really interesting!!

Hi everyone, I am Jury. I was born and grew up in Ho Chi Minh City. I have been studying English for 9 years since I went to 3rd grade. When I come to RMIT I intend to study digital marketing as my main major and maybe I plan to learn more about fashion in my minor. As I mentioned above, I have lived in Ho Chi Minh for 18 years so perhaps I really love the people here. The way they communicate as well as treat people around, friendly with tourists when they come here. Therefore, on weekends I will choose to go out with my family and eat delicious food or if the weather is not good I will stay at home, eat some snacks and watch my favourite TV shows.

Hi I'm Ethan. I'm living in HCMC and I don't know if I will living abroad in the future. Anyways, I think I like to live here because I have my friends and my family, everything is good enough. Although the weather sometimes is not very good, but I think it's still better than some places. I have learnt English for about 13 years and I used to be a really bad English speaker but now I think it 's getting better. When I first came to RMIT, I actually wanted to study graphic design or fashion design, but instead, I chose digital marketing, which I'm not sure if I like it, I'm still intend to study graphic design beside digital marketing, I decided to pursue what I've always wanted. In my freetime, I usually watch some TikTok and YouTube videos, hanging around with my friends or maybe just stay at home watch some movies.

Hi guys, I'm Jennie. I come from Khanh Hoa province, which is a famous coastal city in Vietnam (it is so funny that I have introduced my hometown for the fourth time in this class😅). I have started learning English through films, animations and music since a very young age but I seriously learned it at school when I was 9. Even though having learnt English for nearly 10 years, my spelling ability is still terrible🥹. Digital marketing is my major at RMIT (At least, now, I hope I won't change it regardless of the upcoming difficulties). I have just moved to HCM city for 6 days, this is a large and wealthy city so my life there is quite comfortable. I think exploring this city is gonna be very interesting because the entertaining facilities there are various and quite unique. In my leisure time, I often read novels, watch films or make plans (making daily plans, future plans to make sure everything is operating logically. I'm also trying to build the habit of reading books in my free time, but my phone and other distractions make it harder than I think.

Hi ! Nice to meet you miss Sarah and all my classmates. My name is Phat but yesterday I named it Peter so you guys can call me by this nickname. First of all, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. Obviously, my hometown is really far from here located in the south of Vietnam ( Ca Mau city ). Moreover, it is quite different from a mega city such as HCMC because it is still developing as well as modernizing. Secondly, I have been learning English for about 8 years since I was in 5th grade. I used to study it at school and attended many extra classes organized by English Centers but I just focused on it significantly when I was in high school. I decided to pursue Digital marketing when I came to RMIT ( I am not sure but I’m interested in it for now ). In fact, I was really impressed by the prosperity of HCMC. However, I just lived here in a 2-week period, so I think I should experience more in this city, and I’m gonna tell you later. Last but not least, my favorite hobby is watching videos on Youtube and Tiktok which can motivate me in studying or just for entertainment.

Hi guys! I’m Lily. I come from Vinh City- Nghe An province where Uncle Ho was born. I have been learning English for 9 years since I was 9. When I decided to choose RMIT to follow in the next 3 years, I hesitated to choose professional communication or digital marketing but finally, I chose DM as my major because I think it is more active, and maybe I can work in many areas in the future. I just moved to HCM city for 3 days so I don’t have many chances to go sightseeing but I think it’s a modern and magnificent city. The thing that I love when living here is the people. They are friendly, supportive as well as always willing to helping hand. I usually catch a flick with my friends to see our favorite movies or just live at home and watch my Korean films on Netflix in my leisure time. Or sometimes I listen to podcasts in English to improve my listening skills. To tell you the truth, I will turn 18 on this day next week so I hope I can celebrate my birthday with Mrs. Sarah and my lovely friends here.

Hi, my Vietnamese name is Khanh Ngan but I prefer to be called Kami... . Well, all of my cousins were born in Ho Chi Minh City and I was no exception but frankly, my hometown is Binh Duong Province. I have learned English since I was in grade 1 with a few basic words such as "Hello", "How are you?" or "Thank you", to name a few. When it comes to the major that I want to learn at RMIT University, Professional Communication is always my first choice. I also have a plan about being one of the pupils at RMIT University of Melbourne with the same major as I mentioned (ofc I need to improve my English skills first TT). Despite living in Binh Duong Province, I usually come to Ho Chi Minh City once or twice a month in order to meet my dentist because I need to be fixed my braces, I also come here to go shopping as there are various shopping malls around. Honestly, my favorite activity when I have spare time is lying on my bed surfing social media or watching Netflix. It sounds like I'm a lazy person, right? But I think that it is a way to help me improve my English skills as I usually listen to US/UK songs and sometimes, I watch films with English subtitles, too. I've been studying English for 9 years and animations as well as movies are where I learned most of my English. I decided to choose RMIT as my dream university and the major I plan to study in the future is Professional Communication. The main reason why I choose this major is that I think can be more active and learning how to work effectively. Hello! It's nice to meet you, Ms. Sarah, and all of you guys. My name is Bảo Hân, and you can call me Hân. I was born in Saigon and have been living here until now. Therefore, I really love my hometown, which has many modern infrastructures and convenient conditions. Based on my memories, I have learned English since I was in kindergarten. Honestly, I struggle quite a bit with English, especially grammar and vocabulary. Therefore, my writing skills are quite bad, and I usually make many grammatical mistakes. At RMIT University, I decided to study Professional Communication, even though I am quite introverted. Then, I think that I will participate in the Student Ambassador Team; it will help me improve my communication skills and make me more confident. I also set my goal to have a GPA over 3.5 when I graduate. I will try my best to complete all assignments with an average of over 80%. Moreover, I hope that I can make friends and have good relationships. I expect that I can find people who are kind and supportive. Three months ago, when I was in my final year of high school, my hobby was sleeping in my free time. The reason for this is that I had to prepare for the finals test and did not have enough time to sleep. At this moment, sleeping is also my first choice for my free time activities. Hi guys, I'm Duc Vuong and people call me Daaran! yah. I come from Nam Dinh City which has a lot of studious people. Before moving to Saigon, I lived in Vung Tau City and will call it my second hometown because it holds many good memories there. I don't really remember how long I have studied English, perhaps 7 or 8 years, I guess. However, I don't good at English so much so I apply for this class to study and I meet new friends. In the foreseeable future, I will learn about Business and Technology because my cousin recommended it. At RMIT, I understand how hard it is but I love challenges and now I have a lot of motivation and effort to do it. Additionally, I also have another carrier that I'm trying to follow is Music because I want to be a professional rapper. And about HCM City, 5 years ago, I thought that HCM is so big and boring but after my family decided to move here I changed my mind. Honestly, HCM City's lives are very fascinating and I really enjoy it. Having said that, Saigon has bad pollution and traffic jam so it makes me feel unsatisfying. Moving onto leisure time, I spend most of my free time with my team writing new songs or listening to music to advance my skills in rapping or music knowledge. Sometimes I play computer games too.

Hi, y'all I'm Phong, you can call me Vincent which is my English name. I was born and grow up in a seaside city - Nha Trang which boasts its blue crystal ocean. Actually, that was nearly a decade ago, although it no longer retains the beauty of origin, Nha Trang beach is still something that attracts many tourists. I studied in Ly Tu Trong high school which is known as a top-notch school in Khanh Hoa province with numerous excellent students, except for specialized school. It was quite an honor for me to get into that school because of the highest entrance score. I think that was why I neglect my study in high school time, especially is in learning English. And the repercussion is that I haven't gotten ielts score as rmit's requirement. Probably my weakest skill is reading, I find it not straight forward at all to find correct answers to match with questions, and my reading speed is fairly slow. I think it's partly the repercussion of being lazy to read books since childhood. When I was knee-high to a grasshopper, I was a hyperactive boy, hence I iked physical activities a lot. Honestly, it's a real eye-opener for me to study in rmit. Here, people are not only good, and talented but also wealthy, these things make me feel ashamed and get jealous a bit. Hopefully, our class could be socialble, open-hearted, and helpful. And finally, I wish all of us could pass the final exam with flying colors after the 10-week course. Love y'all <3

I'm Ben; feel free to call me that . I'm from the mountains, specifically in Gia Lai province . I was exposed to English when I moved to Ho Chi Minh City and have lived here for almost a decade now. Life in Ho Chi Minh City is quite hectic and rushed than in other provinces. I have forgotten the initial feeling of this urban place, but now I can say this is one of the most modern and bustling cities in Vietnam. In the near future if nothing changes, I plan to study professional communication at rmit. but in order to get into college, the first and foremost goal is to pass this course-advanced class. I devote a lot of time to music outside of school, especially playing the violin. One of my everyday activities is listening to music, which not only helps me focus more but also allows me to relax down when I feel psychologically unstable. Nice to see you guys.
