I taught 7th grade ELA for six years before I decided to switch to elementary. I taught 4th grade ELA for four years, and thenI decided to go back for my Master of Library Science.

I work at Krahn Elementary, in Klein ISD. It is located in Spring, Tx. I am a first year media specialist, but I was a 4th grade ELA teacher at this campus for the past two years. Having already built relationships with many of the teachers, has helped the transition.

I have two cats that keep me laughing every day! My grey cat, Loki, must have been an acrobat in another life. He regularly makes me wince, as he barrels through the house, treating it like his personal jungle gym.

Cricket, my calico, is the fun police. She monitors all activity in the house, and if she feels like someone is having TOO much fun (Loki), she puts an end to it hahahaha. They love each other when it's cuddle time :)

I love to play pranks! My coworkers and friends know to look out haha. For the sake of always being prepared, I carry a fake roach in my purse. Needless to say, I have scared myself a few times.
