The Alhambra, located in Granada, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. It consists of a set of palaces, gardens and fortress that housed a real citadel within the city of Granada, which served as accommodation for the monarch and the Court of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada. Its true appeal, as in other Muslim works of the time, not only lies in the interiors, whose décor is among the summits of Andalusian art, but also in its location and adaptation, generating a new landscape but fully integrated with the Pre-existing nature.

Sierra Nevada, belonging to the penibetic system. It is located in Granada, Andalusia, Spain. It is the highest mountain massif in western Europe. Its maximum altitude is reached in the Pico Mulhacén, of 3,482 MASL. In 1986 it was declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO and in 1999 a large part of its territory was pronounced Parque nacional1 for its botanical, landscape and natural values.

The Corpus Fair is the city's biggest party. Every year, it starts on a Saturday at midnight with the light, and ends the following Saturday with a fireworks show.
With more than five hundred years old, these Corpus Christi celebrations were held for the first time under royal mandate. They are part of the most cheerful traditions that the city preserves and in all its history have served as parentheses in the daily life of the Granada, propitiating a day of healthy coexistence and amusement.
Granada smells of corpus and dresses in corpus these days where a full range of cultural events, including bullfighting festivals, share time with the ornate huts and the exciting swings of the fairground.
The fair is usually in the month of June but does not have a specific date, depends on the Easter. The way to know the beginning of the corpus is to count 60 days from Easter Monday, first Monday after Resurrection Sunday, and give us the Thursday of Corpus Christi, the big day of this week

Holy Week of Granada captivates your senses. Brotherhoods of silence, guilds of Capa and barrio, a whole exhibition of Andalusian sentiment with the sign of a city like Granada.
The Zaidín, the Albaicín or the Realejo next to the historical center of the city see Processionar images and courtship of great beauty and with the sole aim of bringing to the visitor, the Spectator, the message of Christ crucified, dead and resurrected. A message that arrives in steps of mystery, like three falls, the Holy Supper, the orchard of the olive trees, the Christ of forgiveness, the sentence, the Zaidinero Christ of work, the sacred thrown or the stripped and in steps of Christ like the sacred Protector of the city , or the Christ of Silence, favors, expiration, captive, ransom, and resurrected Christ.
All this framed in a unique landscape, of unpublished colors mixed with the light of the white of Sierra Nevada, the green of the Vega of Granada and the blue of the sky of the Holy Week.

Granada is a Spanish city and municipality, capital of the homonymous province, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. It is located in the centre of the Vega de Granada region, at an altitude of 680 m S. N. M., in a wide Intrabética depression formed by the Genil River and by the foothills of the highest massif of the Iberian Peninsula, Sierra Nevada, which conditions its climate.
In 2017 it was inhabited by 232 770 people (108 889 men and 125 869 women), 7 498 365 counting the metropolitan area. 8 The neighborhoods they pose are very different from each other, partly because of the continued immigration until the 1990; The most important are the Zaidín, the Albaicín, the Sacromonte, the Realejo, the Chana, Almanjáyar and the Cartuja.
It was the capital of the Zirí Kingdom of Granada, during the 11th century, and the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada between the 13th and 15th centuries. After the city was taken by the Catholic monarchs, it remained as the capital of the Castilian kingdom of Granada, which was already a simple territorial jurisdiction and remained until 1833, when a new provincial division was produced in Spain, still in force.
