The gradual transition from a student in a school to a scholar in society is a process that grows with age and mentality, it is unavoidable and imperceptible process.

-Abilities to use the learning material 
     -Library (plenty of books & academic magazines we can refer to)
     -Academic website (like Bright Knowledge, TED, YouTube, WIKI encyclopedia, etc.)
     -ask teachers and senior students for help, not a narrow sense.

-Abilities to manage time
-Abilities to organize and multi-tasking

  • Independent learning provide us an opportunity to digest what we have learned, because people cannot always learning things from the outside, they need time to absorb knowledge and make it to be themselves.
  • An opportunity for people to learn themselves, allowing them to find their shortcomings and to build a critical thinking ability.
  • It’s an ability that not only reflect on our own studies but also it will influence our whole life.

    • More involved in the learning process.
    When we are student, teacher will teach you to learn knowledge, but after leaving the campus, people still need to learn. This requires self-study ability.

    Self-study has multiple meanings and can refer to people's ability to absorb things. It also refers to a state of mastering a skill without guidance and education.
