I was usually home alone as both still worked all day jobs. The night before a day I was staying at the house my grandma made a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies. Now I knew from prior experience that if i eat alot of her cookies my stomach will hurt very bad. So the next morning everyone is gone and it's just me and the cookies. I tried my hardest to contain myself but the time came where I had to make a decision. Throughout the day I had eaten the cookies in moderation, about 2 or 3 every couple hours but now I needed more. My Id was saying eat them all because she said I could and the taste of the godly cookies would be worth the pain. My superego was saying I should still save some for them and the pain from stomach might last days. My ego was saying just keep eating them in moderation. Well it was time for a decision and as you read from the title my Id took over. The taste was great I ate around 12 cookies and the pain was immense throughout the day. But to this day I still feel I made the right decision.
