Genes must be placed in first as they are the building blocks of how a human will turn out. In order to ensure stable looks, traits, and starting personality of a human at birth, one must check the genes to make sure everything is working properly. This is crucial in beginnings of a human. Second, the brain must be added in order to make the human function. Immediately after the brain, drop in the correct amounts of hormones (testosterone, serotonin, estrogen, etc.) in order to make your human grow and emote its basic level. Once all the ingredients are added into the pot, stir until a paste is formed. Once this is finished, you can move on to building your human (Cowley).

Step 1: Gather the basic biological ingredients.

In order to make a human, you will need a few basic ingredients. To start, you will need to gather the biological factors. First and most important, roughly 100 trillion meters of DNA compacted into human cells, second, a human brain (the key component needed to perceive incoming environmental stimuli), and the third and final biological ingredient are hormones (necessary to cause many human emotions, states, reactions, and drives). All these ingredients most likely can be found at a local super market near you. Be careful not to tamper with any of these ingredients and use with extreme caution. One break in the genetic code, one bump to the human brain, or too much/too little of a single hormone can cause massive malfunctions in the outcome of your human (Wade)(Koshland).

Step 3: Place your human into the oven, wait, then see your first product.

This step is the exciting step as it molds your human into its purest form. Preheat your oven to 97.8 degrees and place your human into the oven for for roughly 9 months. Since there is such a wide variety of genetic code, your human will vary in many aspects such as eye color, height, weight, voice and personality once taken out of the oven. Make sure there are no external factors around the oven that could influence your humans outcome. Some of these factors could be x-rays, alcohol, drugs, smoke, harmful chemicals and many other teratogens (Kulikowski). After the 9 months, your basic human is complete.

Step 4: Gather environmental factors and add them to your human.

Environmental factors are key components that will determine your human's final product. This step one can get creative with the ingredients. There are many environmental factors that you can choose from that will impact your human positively or negatively. Such factors can be traumatic experiences, celebrations, sickness, periods of happiness, periods of sadness, marriage, divorce, learning a language, getting an education, finding religion, working for pay, volunteering, living in poverty, affluence, getting lots of sleep, getting little sleep, doing drugs, drinking alcohol, and eating healthy (Kulikowski). After adding your desired environmental factors, you can sit back and watch your human transform into its final form.

Step 5 and Summary: Sit back and watch life take its toll

The environmental factors will affect your human either immediately or over time causing many changes throughout the course of its cooking. You will begin to notice that both the environmental factors as well as the biological factors that you added into your human ultimately result into its final form. You will also notice how the human brain will play the most major role in your human's life as it controls both biological and environmental factors (Wade). If all goes well, after roughly 70 to 80 years, you will see your human in its final form. After this, time will take its toll and your human will pass away. You must remember though, that while you watched your human mold into its final form, not just environmental or just biological factors controlled its outcome. Both nature and nurture created your human. No arguments against it.
