    • Ischemic stroke (part of the brain loses blood flow)
    • Hemorrhagic stroke (bleeding occurs within the brain)
    •  Atherosclerosis ( fat and cholesterol build up in your arteries, causing your arteries to narrow. Over time, this can completely block blood flow.)
