He is investigating a home for all the missing persons. He is upset that nobody believes that there is something wrong with the "nice old lady." Then he goes and investigates the home for himself and ends up in a niche.


* film goes through the course of the story *

He drinks the tea and falls into a deep sleep and then the old lady uses one of the boys to help her chain Billy up like the other boys in exchange for a full course meal and threatens their life. Then billy wakes up and finds the other boy/men chained up with him. 
Billy explains to them that he was investigating their disappearance and traced them to the Bed and Breakfast. Together they plan their escape.

Since Billy served in the military prior to becoming an FBI agent, he had profound knowledge in how to escape hostage situations. After a couple days,  the lady showed up to give them their rations of food. When the lady uncuffed one of billy's hand, he took advantage and used his free hand to knocking her out unconscious. He manages to free his other hand and the others and they hurry out of there.
*scene changes*
Once they open the door, they notice something peculiar, nothing is the way it seems.

*camera zooms out showing how they're seeing things from their perspectives and the scene changes*
 
In this new scene, they are still chained up. They are laughing hysterically and are moving in a frantic manner. They were drugged and were imagining the whole escape. 

*scene fades, eerie music*
