You can see them in every garden and park. 

They are 40-50cm long and weigh around half a kilo. They have grey and brown fur, big black eyes, a long, fluffy tail, and long claws. 

Grey squirrels come from North America. When I was a child, we had red squirrels in the UK, but unfortunately, the grey invaders have almost wiped out native squirrels.  

Squirrels' main diet is nuts. They also steal bird food, so some people don't like them. Actually, they are really clever animals. They bury nuts for the winter, and sometimes pretend to bury nuts in order to trick other squirrels.

Squirrels live in any place that has trees. Sheffield has a lot of trees, so we also have a LOT of squirrels. I have a few regular squirrel visitors to my garden. One of them even brings gifts, such as stones and berries, and leaves them on my step.

The tallest one is about 6 meters but approximately they 4 or 5 meters. They have long reck and legs. They have special patterns like orange and brown colours.
Their food sources are leaves, fruits, flowers. They live mostly in Africa. Their ears are movable. Their tounges are about 45 centimeters and black. No one heard giraffe communication is because the sound frequency was too low for humans to hear. Their vocal chords couldn't produce sufficient airflow through their 4 meter long neck. 
It is classified by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, vulnerable to extinction.

With reddish, orange coat with dark stripes and you may also come across Siberian tigers with white coat and black stripes.
Tigers are mostly seen in tropical rainforests, evergreen forests and temperate forests. They live in mangrove swamps, grasslands, and savannas. You may meet them in the rainforests of India and in the fields of Siberia as well.
When it comes to diet, tigers are night hunters eating deer and antelope. What’s most interesting is that they can eat 80 pounds of meat at a night.
Considered mostly as the solitary animals  they have their own territory. Moreover , unlike most members of the cat family, tigers like water and swimming.
Tigers look like very noble and cool and this makes them loved animals for us.

They live at the top of the rocky mountains, along rivers and lakes. They are usually seen in the north part of America, northen and middle Asia. Their main deit contains mammals and birds alive or carrion.  

They are interesting animal because they have nests, called eyries, at the top of the rocks and the mountains, and they don't allow any other animal to reach their areas because they usually patrol around. The eyesight of an eagle is 5 times better than a human. They can carry more than 5 kilos with their claws.

Eagles are my favourite animals because they symbolize freedom and power. They have larger perspectives than any other birds. They fly long distances as I like travelling long distances.

They are very common animals that can live in almost all the continents. In Turkey, especially in Black Sea region you can see them around.
 
There are many types of snakes. Some are small and some are very big. Their sizes range from 10 cm in length to over 9 meters. They can be in all kinds of colors and shapes. 

Snakes have various habitats. They can be seen in forests, swamps, grasslands, deserts, in both fresh water and salt water. Some are active at night, while others during the day. 

All snakes are carnivores. Their diet depends on the species of the snake. Some eat warm-blooded prey like rodents, rabbits, birds; and others eat insects, frogs, eggs, other reptiles, fish, worms and slugs.

Snakes have some interesting behaviours. For example, they eat and swallow their prey as a whole, and they have to stay immobile for weeks to digest it.
They have interesting abilities, too. For example, they can strike at incredible speeds. They are excellent mimics. They hear with their mouths, and some of them can even fly. 

We love snakes because they are very cool animals. Some are very cute and they have interesting colorful skins.

You cannot see them quite often but some information about them will interest you.

They weigh between 4-9 kilos and they are usually between 54 to 74 cms tall. They have long limbs, round head and a fureless face. Their forelegs are longer than their hindlegs. 

Their habitat is southern and central America. You can see them hanging on long trees in the rainforests of this part of the world. 


When it comes to feeding, they are omnivores. They mainly feed on leaves, twigs, buds, fruit and sometimes rodents and insects.

They move so slowly that they can digest poison without dieing. The poison loses its effect during the very slow digestion period. This slowness causes moss to grow on their fur and this becomes a camouflage for them. 

They cannot be preyed easily because they spend almost their entire life clinging and hangling on trees, even while sleeping. 

They look weak but they are real survivors. They have a lifestyle.
